Lexi Case is PLNU’s assistant director of alumni engagement.
“I love working for University Advancement,” she said. “I have never had a job doing so much good and giving back to a place that gave so much to me.”

A 2021 marketing grad, Case also gives back by serving on the marketing program’s advisory board and as a judge, coach, and mentor in Dr. Mike Wiese’s class.
There are many who appreciate Case — but perhaps no one so much as her beloved cat, Pickles.
Six months after her college graduation, a feral cat gave birth in her boyfriend’s mom’s driveway. The mother cat sacrificed her own life to lure a coyote away from her kittens. As a result, Pickles was bottle-fed and learned to trust and adore humans. Case adopted him when he was nine months old. Other than developing bladder crystals and needing a special diet, Pickles has been happy and healthy.
At 18 pounds, Pickles is a big cat, but he’s nowhere near as large as his best friend and biggest fan, Tater Tot, Case’s Golden Retriever mix who weighs in at about 70 pounds.
“They love each other,” she said. “They like to play tag where they chase each other until one of them can tap the other, and then they turn around and switch directions. They also love to run up and down the stairs.”
