The event marked the first time in history that the White House welcomed national champions from all three NCAA divisions.

Forward Bethany Arabe represented the Sea Lions on stage for the ceremony, with U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris addressing those in attendance.

Sixteen members of the team were present, along with Head Coach Kristi Kiely, Bob and Linda Brower, and Associate Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs Lora Fleming.

After being honored at the White House, the group was greeted by local Congressman Scott Peters and toured the U.S. Capitol.
