In this issue of the Viewpoint, we celebrate people who are living life to the fullest through passionate pursuits, meaningful service, and an appreciation for the everyday. You will meet alumnus and filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton, whose dedication to storytelling has led to a remarkable career in Hollywood. You will also read the story of Tim and Hilary Timmons, who have learned to embrace each day with faith and gratitude through seasons of success, grief, and uncertainty. We introduce you to another Cabinet member, Dr. Walter Augustine, who shares how PLNU seeks to nurture the passion and potential of every student and help the university community thrive. And you will find more stories of purpose-filled living, from students conducting fieldwork in Costa Rica to faculty members retiring after years of meaningful service.
